APPEAL: 7 unwanted pups who have nothing

'Poppy'
approx. 4.5 mths

GSD x Rottie, fully vaccinated, ID Chipped, fully wormed, veterinary health checked.

Poppy has come back to us as her new home hasn't worked out for her.

Her new owners were lovely and have tried very hard but their resident cats will just not accept Poppy and there was mutiny, they're just not having any of it!

Poppy would benefit from a home with another dog-as she loves doggie company and is used to settling down at nights with another dog, snuggling up together.

House clean (well almost), likes to make a big mess in your garden, learning basic commands, new owner would be expected to take approved puppy classes and basic obedience classes, lots of energy-lively little girl.

As Poppy will grow to be quite large-she is a GSD X Rottie, new owners with large dog experience would be suited.

GSD X Rottie update:

7 6 week old pups came into rescue last week, all have now gone on into foster homes, they are looking for permanent homes and will be re-homed after Christmas.

All were checked over by the EDDR vet and then their worming began !

One foster home still needed for 'Cooper' who is the last one to be fostered, he is unable to travel long distances to be placed, currently in the Middlesex/London area, enjoys tugging on shoe laces, investigating everything he can find can play all day and all night!

All the pups now have their own Xmas presents waiting for them under the tree and would like to say a big thank you to those who have fostered them and also to those who donated to buy them out of where they were, giving them a chance of a normal and happy life.

All placements are home checked, fosterers offer their services on a voluntary basis and must be experienced with dogs.

7 GSD x Rottie pups coming in urgently to rescue: Approx. 5-7wks old

From a site due to a unplanned mating, all pups will need experienced foster homes for lots of TLC and socialisation prior to re-homing after Xmas.

If you have experience of looking after a very young puppy, lots of patience and don't mind being put out over Xmas period, would you be able to help by taking one of these pups? All will be wormed and checked over by the EDDR vet before leaving for foster placements.

Or maybe you could make a small donation to go towards their veterinary care, worming, food, collar, lead, bowl, a new bed, a toy etc? They have nothing as yet so all donations are gratefully received.

£3 buys a collar, £3 for a name tag

Ferplast bed 21 inch £5.40, washable bed inserts £10

Kong toy £5,

or if you can spare a few bits for them - please post to EDDR Post Office Box 1544, London W7 2ZB for distribution, thank you.

Puppies first trip to the vet!!

Abbie is looking for a good experienced home of her own, she is in an excellent foster home at present.

Abbie has been health checked by the vet, has had her 1st inoculation and been fully wormed.

She is almost house trained and being a happy youngster enjoys landscape gardening and some interior designing too!
Bringing up a puppy is a time consuming job which takes a lot of effort and patience. You will need to attend puppy training classes and be able not to leave Abbie for long periods of time.

All homes are home checked and adoption is subject to written agreement.

Further details: rescue@endangereddogs.com

Update Abbie 10/2:

Abbie, renamed Pheobe, has been settling in very well in her new home.

She is a very special girl and we shall have an update from her new owners soon.

A big thank you to Claire and the Kirk family who fostered Abbie and took such good care of her, with lots of introductions to people, dogs and cats, some training and in return Abbie dug some nice holes in their garden and got herself into all kinds of puppy mischief!

Abbie got a head start and lots of TLC which was so desperately needed.

Update January:

Cooper has been adopted and gone on to his new home.

Thank you to everyone who enquired.

Home wanted
'Bongo'

Rottweiler x GSD / Approx. 12wks.

Fully vaccinated / ID Chipped / Fully wormed

'Bongo' is in a foster home where he has been getitng lots of socialisation and TLC.

He is a happy, healthy, bouncy lad, almost house-trained apart from the odd relapse as to be expected with a youngster.

Is getting used to being left for short periods of time - happy as long as he has plenty to keep him occupied such as his favourite toys.

Bongo is very appealing - as all pups are, but requires time and effort from his new family.

Would be suited to go to someone with breed experience, if could offer Bongo a forever home, please contact; rescue@endangereddogs.com for further details.

All prospective homes are 'home checked' and adoption is subject to written agreement.

Update 10/2:

Bongo has been adopted and gone on to his new home.

Thank you to everyone who enquired about him, he has been settling in very well and we shall have an update from his new family soon.

A special thank you to Pam in Dorset who fostered Bongo and gave him a very good introduction into the big wide world, with lots of care, house training, socialisation and all a young rescue puppy requires.
