June 2008 - National Microchipping Month is organised by the Kennel Club and will take place in June 2008. Microchipping Clinics are being held across the country, this is the 6th year that the annual scheme has been running, so if your pet isn't already chipped - get along this month to one of the clinics and take the opportunity. Dog Train & Behave Week 28th July to 4th August 2007 - was organised by The Company of Animals, the event was all about training dogs and aimed to raise public awareness. Dogs Trust Merseyside held a Responsible Dog Ownership initiative from 23rd July until 26th July 2007 during which Dogs Trust delivered a host of free activities providing support and education to the local community. National Microchipping Month was organised by the Kennel Club.
