Appeal for Information:

An injured Staffordshire Bull Terrier has been thrown to its death from a London tower block.

The police and RSPCA are appealing for any information to help catch those responsible for the killing of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Peckham, London.

The dog had previously suffered injuries to the head, injuries which may have been sustained from a dog fight. It was seen by a witness crying in pain, when a gang of approximately 15 youths surrounded it and carried it through flats and to the fifth floor.

The Stafford was then thrown from a communal balcony, 70 ft to its death.

The dog was picked up off the concrete by the gang and thrown into a metal bin, it was then found by police and taken to a vets.

This sickening act of cruelty took place at approximately 9.30pm on the 10th March at Sidmouth House in Lympstone Gardens, Peckham, London.

If you have any information please contact the police and RSPCA in confidence on 03001234 999.
