Please help support one of our 'long term' residents. Rescue dogs still with us who haven't been able to find the right home or are unlikley to. We can always make good use of just about anything! In particular for the rescues:

Synoquin joint tablets, loading or maintenance strength
Large rawhide chew bones, chocolate flavoured nylabones
Dental chews
Sturdy toys all shapes and types
Drontal worming tablets
Large sized flexi lead
Strong plain leather collars (18-22 inches)
Ear cleaner
Blankets/bedding especially for winter – can collect in some areas
Dog heat pads- the type heated in the microwave
DAP diffuser refills

Please sign the petition - to the Prime Minister, to help get the Index of Exempted Dogs re-opened to enable owner-led registration. More signatures needed.

Help is sometimes needed to transport dogs from put to sleep situations into kennels or foster homes, we work with several other rescues, if you are able to offer safe transport for a dog in need, even just occasionally, please email us to discuss further.

We as well as the groups we work with, often need foster homes with people who have experience of dogs, especially bull breeds. Safe, secure garden essential. Dogs for fostering not socialised with cats. Food, transport and veterinary fees can be paid by rescue. All potential foster homes are vetted. Please contact us for further information.

Add your voice in recognition of the 8,000 dogs which died last year due to having nowhere to go. A survey commissioned by the Dogs Trust showed that almost 8000 healthy dogs were put to sleep in council pounds in 2005. 8,000 dogs, who had no one of their "own", died simply because supply outstrips demand and, for us, life carried on.

Voice your concerns over breed specific legislation, eg the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. Breed bans do not help protect the public. Ban the deed not the breed!
