Information, Education & Advice - Helping Dogs In Need
Endangered Dogs Defence & Rescue
The Endangered Dogs Defence & Rescue (EDDR) is a voluntary run organisation which offers free information, education and advice to help, defend and better protect dogs in need. We give advice concerning dog related legal matters and legislation affecting dogs. We promote responsible dog ownership. EDDR campaigns, raises awareness and offers support on canine welfare issues and is opposed to breed specific legislation.

Campaigns:
Repeal Breed Specific Law - the legislation has resulted in the deaths of thousands of dogs and much suffering, both human and canine, since its introduction. We believe, as do many others, that the law is unworkable, unjust and does not protect the public as the real root of the problem is irresponsible and uneducated dog owners and dog breeders.
'Puppy Farms' - you may have already heard of the phrase ‘Puppy Farming’ but are probably unaware of just how big an issue this is in the UK. You can help end puppy farming and the suffering it causes.
Electric Shock Collars - please support the campaign against electric shock collars and devices for dogs and cats. These are still legal to use in England & Scotland following a ban on use in Wales.
Better Safeguards for Seized Dogs - please support the petition to help bring about changes for seized dogs and their owners.
Brandy & Karma Appeal - Held since puppies for looking the wrong shape and size, their case went to court and 18 long months later both dogs are set free by the Judge. Now they need your help.
'Saving Bruce' Appeal - attempt to save death row dog
Bruce. Held under draconian law for two years, due to die by lethal injection.
Please visit our Bruce Appeal page for information on how you can help. Support needed urgently as legal battle continues.
