Canine News & Events 2010:
Dog Law Seminars are being presented by Trevor Cooper of Cooper & Co Solicitors. Trevor has been qualified as a solicitor for 22 years and specializes in the criminal law on dogs in England and Wales.
Trevor currently works as a prosecutor with the Environmental Agency. He also acts in dog cases and also runs a telephone advice-line dealing with criminal and civil disputes affecting dogs and their owners.
Trevor has been a legal advisor to EDDR for many years and has worked with canine organisations and charities throughout the UK, he maintains his own web site www.doglaw.co.uk and often gives lectures and interviews on canine issues to the media.
This particular seminar is aimed more at professionals rather than 'ordinary' dog owners because the content is more criminal orientated, although all dog owners are more than welcome to attend.
Another seminar is being planned for the latter part of this year and we'll bring you details once finalised, this tour will have more civil content and may suit 'ordinary' dog owners more as it will cover issues such as custody disputes, veterinary disputes, contracts etc
