Update: The Vigil has now ended-there were pages of candles lit from eight different countries-thank you everyone for caring so much - Not Guilty Vigil News Update Here
On Saturday 24th July, dog lovers are travelling from across the UK to participate in the Not Guilty! Vigil taking place in Westminster, London (UK) to send a strong message to the Government that breed specific legislation must end.
For those who can’t personally attend the event, an online Candle Lit Vigil is being held to coincide with the Vigil in central London.
Hundreds of pets have been and are currently being forcibly removed from their homes and locked away whilst their fate – whether they will live or die – is decided.
We ask that Section one of the Dangerous Dogs Act is REPEALED and the owners and breeders are the focus - not the dogs themselves.
Dogs which have never put a paw wrong, puppies, adults, the old dog, the sick dog, the rescue dog, BSL shows no mercy and the killing goes on and on.
People are coming together, making a stand and speaking out in defence of ALL dogs regardless to what shape or size they happen to be.
If you are unable to attend the London Vigil in person, please follow the link below and light a candle, for those who have tragically died, for those who wait to die held on ‘canine death row’, for those selected for destruction and condemned with a tape measure and for those imprisoned for committing no crime and hoping to be allowed to come home one day.
July 24th Is the Not! Guilty Vigil Day and on this day, the injustice, persecution, suffering and cries for help WILL BE HEARD.
Please take a moment to reflect, remember
& light a candle for all the victims of BSL:
